With an annual procurement volume of approximately USD 25.7 billion, the United Nations is one of the world's largest public procurement organizations. The 32 reporting UN organizations procure a wide range of goods and services, including medical technology, IT solutions, infrastructure, logistics, and consulting services. German companies of all sizes already benefit from the diverse business opportunities offered by the UN procurement market.

The UN Procurement Hubs: Copenhagen and New York

The UN organizations based in Copenhagen and New York account for the majority of the United Nations' procurement volume. From these two locations, the procurement activities of major UN organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA, and the UN Procurement Division are coordinated.

AHK Denmark and the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York support German companies in gaining access to the UN procurement market through services including market research, tender monitoring, individual consulting, and representation at bid openings.
