Did you know that just last fall, NYC has been named best city in the world for female entrepreneurs? To explore and discuss this further, we are excited to have successful established and starting up female entrepreneurs from the field of strategic consulting, fashion, technology, and investment/funding from the larger New York business community on our distinguished panel




Vanessa Bismarck, founding partner of BPCM, is one of the most established and respected global voices in fashion public relations. In the nearly two decades since founding BPCM, which now employs over 75 staffers across two continents, Vanessa has been instrumental in building the names of some of fashion’s most recognizable brands including Celine, Stella McCartney, Longchamp, Aldo and Alexander Wang.

Diana Franco, Director WE.NYC. WE.NYC is an initiative of the Mayor’s Office and Small Business Services to empower and support women entrepreneurs. Diana has been founding team member of three tech start-ups with successful exits, the founder of an agency helping foreign entrepreneurs to launch their products and services in U.S., and co-founder of


Dr. Stefanie Lemcke is a serial entrepreneur and experienced executive with multi-million dollar sales deals. She has 20+ years of experience in digital, media, retail, innovation and technology. Stefanie is a trained lawyer, former principal of Quantum Media and has held executive roles at Disney, Sony Music, and Sky. As a working mom she got inspired to start GoKid to find a better transportation solution for her own kids.

Jaqui Lividini, is Founder and CEO of Lividini & Co, a brand engagement company that specializes in repositioning and reinvigorating iconic fashion, retail and lifestyle brands founded in 2005. Prior Jaqui rose through the executive ranks of Saks Fifth Avenue, culminating in the position of SVP Fashion Merchandising and Communications. She currently serves as Board Chair for Win, a New York City non-profit organization that transforms the lives of homeless families, and is also a member of the Board of Trustees for The Fashion Institute of Technology.

Sarah Krasley is an entrepreneur focused on technology’s role in proliferating positive body image. Shimmy Technologies is an early stage company focused on improving apparel production with automation and artificial intelligence - paving the way for mass customization of garments. Shimmy’s test case, X Swimwear (custom, made-to-measure swimwear for women over 40) that launched online last month.

Dr. Donna Redel is a businesswoman, angel investor, and philanthropist. She was the managing director of The World Economic Forum and first woman to chair an US Exchange, The Commodity Exchange. She actively participates in the startup community with New York Angels, is a committee member at MoMA’s photography committee and The Modern Women’s Fund. Ms Redel has served on the boards of The Earth Institute, The American Friends of the Musee d’Orsay, The Alliance Francaise, and The Venice Foundation.
