Renewables - Made in Germany

In order to provide assistance with the promotion of German technology to actively contribute to global climate protection and to aid in the positioning of German companies in international markets, the Renewable Energy Export Initiative, following a decision of the German Parliament was launched in 2003.

Since then, the initiative is controlled, coordinated and funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). With a wide range of measures to German companies the export initiative supports the renewable energy industry in developing new markets abroad. A comprehensive range of measures like market information, seminars, the organization of business meetings, the contacts with partners from the target country, marketing support and more help small and medium-sized enterprises abroad.
