Renewable Energy and Energy Efficient Technologies Made in Germany

How does the energy mix of the future look like? Both rising energy prices and the challenges of climate change will play a strong role in our future energy policy and impact developments in renewable energy and energy efficient technology.

Consistent and early promotion of renewable energies and energy-efficient technologies in Germany has resulted in German companies becoming industry leaders. To make a significant contribution to international climate protection research, the Federal Government has supported the Export Initiative Renewable Energy (RE) and the Export Initiative Energy Efficiency (EEff) since 2002, which is the worldwide promotion and distribution of RE and EEff German renewable technologies. The benefits of this include:

  • Informative conferences about the latest developments in German technology. These conferences also act as a strong networking tool and allow one to have direct contact with German companies and industry experts.
  • Delegation trips to Germany show you the possibilities of German technology through informative presentations by experts in the field. You can have direct contact with German companies in order to facilitate your business.
  • Trade shows will give you a look into the latest German technology presented by German experts.
  • An Internet portal and a newsletter keeping you informed about the current developments in Germany's renewable energy industry found at www.renewables-made-in-germany.com and http://www.efficiency-from-germany.info/.
  • The virtual marketplace offers you the convenience of buying or selling your goods or services online at http://www.renewablesb2b.com .

The German American Chamber of Commerce carries out various projects on behalf of the initiatives. You can find more information on current projects and past events here.
