| The foundation for the Leipzig Trade Fairs was built in the year of 1165, the same time when the city of Leipzig was granted the right to hold markets.

On this note the early beginnings of the Leipzig Trade Fairs goes back as much as 800 years. Today the much more established Leipzig Trade Fairs has grown to an impressive 1,089,316 square feet of indoor exhibition space and 753,480 square feet outside. Annually around 10,000 exhibitors participate in the 25 international trade fairs and exhibitions as well as the 84 international congresses. The events attract 1.4 million visitors making Leipzig Trade Fairs globally recognized. As the official representation we market a wide range of trade shows which take place in Leipzig every year. We offer support to American companies, organizations and authorities for planning, preparing and organizing their exhibit and stay in Leipzig. What we offer to exhibitors: We assist in arranging exhibition space, in filling out exhibiting applications, show catalog entry forms and for technical support. We also arrange for temporary booth staff, interpreters and for inviting German decision makers and industry experts of your target industry to your exhibit. What we offer to visitors: Advance sale of reduced rate admission tickets, show catalogs, assistance in obtaining arrangements for travel, accommodations and tourist attractions. Our service is free of charge.
